Started with a salad and breadsticks and was the part of the meal that we’d sign up to provide. Gathering at our friends – Pat and Dave – house in RiNo they made a pork loin from a 20-year old Silver Palatte Cookbook published by the Denver Junior League.
The meal took us into 2018, with liquors in the living room while Pat told us stories of seeing a bear down on the Platte River trail a few blocks from their house.
The breadsticks made by Steuart and our son Graham were inspired by the British Baking Show. They were a twist of red chili and salty anchovy and served with a fresh salad with a Caesar style dressing.
