French Toast

With Ripe Avocado Before the baguette slices were dipped in egg batter they were spread with a mashed, very ripe avocado. Then cooked as usual in a medium hot frying pan. Flipped. They are served with the remaining egg scrambled, hot sauce and potatoes.  

Sorrel Martini

Pour vodka on fresh sorrel leaves. Let sit for at least 20 minutes. Blend with an immersion blender until very minced. Add ice and strain into chilled martini glasses. Set in the setting sunlight coming through your front – westerly facing – window.
