Strata – Brunch

Home made bread, getting older, sliced thin and laid on the bottom of this (restaurant supply) pan. Covered this with 1/3 cup of ricotta cheese, then layered on: sautéd onion, cooked and squeezed-dry spinach and a poblano pepper. Then added another layer of 1/3 cup of ricotta and grated Swiss cheese. The final layer was more thinly sliced bread. Finally poured a little custardy batter over the top. The custard batter was 2 eggs and 1 cup of milk. More grated Swiss on top and baked for 55 minutes at 350 degrees F.
